We've made the process of ordering your Alba Rose ashes jewellery simple, secure, and filled with care at every stage.

Step 1: Choose Your Jewellery

Explore our collection of rings, pendants, bracelets, earrings and charms. Every piece can be personalised with your choice of Murano glass colour and precious metal, creating something truly special.

Step 2: Place Your Order

Once you've chosen your design, place your order securely through our website. If you prefer, you can place your order with your funeral director or crematorium.

Step 3: Receive Your Ashes Collection Kit

We'll send you a free collection kit with everything you need to securely send a small token of ashes to us.

Inside you'll find:

An order form with clear instructions
A secure foil ashes pouch and spoon
A prepaid tracked return envelope
A finger sizing tool

We only ever need a teaspoon of ashes to create your gemstone. Any that remain will be carefully returned to you with your finished jewellery.

Step 4: Your Gemstone is Crafted

If our glass studio, skilled artisans use traditional lampworking techniques with authentic Venetian Murano glass to encase the ashes within a gemstone. Each one is individually handmade, unique, and a lasting tribute to your loved one.

Step 5: Jewellery is Finished

Once your gemstone has been created, it is carefully set into your chosen jewellery mount by our expert jewellers. Every piece is polished, checked, and finished to the highest standard, ready to be treasured for years to come.

Step 6: Delivery of Your Jewellery

Your completed jewellery will be presented in our luxury gift packaging. We'll notify you by email as soon as it's on its way, ready for you to wear or to give as a meaningful gift.

Choosing the right ring size is essential to ensure your jewellery is comfortable and secure. As finger sizes can change slightly depending on the time of day and temperature.

If you're unsure of your size, we provide a free finger sizing tool sent with every order kit. This is a professional finger measuring tool, so you can be confident that your ring will fit perfectly.

When you place your order, select “I'm unsure” and once confirmed you can update your order with your chosen finger size on the order confirmation page.

As soon as you confirm the size to us, we start production of the jewellery mounting for your Murano glass gemstone.

Engraving transforms ashes jewellery into something uniquely yours. Every product can be personalised with words of love and remembrance that result in a truly sentimental piece of jewellery.

We offer a single font, Times New Roman, which is clearly legible on all of our items of jewellery.

Below shows some examples of how our jewellery is engraved for our customers.

Engraving Inside Rings

Up to 25 characters are centered in the back of the ring band.

Engraving on Pendants

Up to 25 characters are centered on the back of the pendant.

Engraving on Earrings

Up to 25 characters are centred above and below the earring post. The message is repeated on both earrings.

Engraving on Charms

Up to 25 characters written in a circle on the side of the charm. The message is repeated on both sides of the charm.

All of our products are custom made, which means that we can't specify exactly how long it will take to produce, but we can give you an rough estimate.

On average it takes 2-3 weeks from when we receive the ashes to complete your order.

Gold items usually take 3-4 weeks due to the extra hallmarking step which is required by law for all gold items.

If there is a special case you'd like us to finish your order by, then please get in touch and we'll see if it will be possible.

We will however keep you updated throughout the process, and you'll receive email notifications at the following steps:

Step 1 - Ashes Received

As soon as the ashes are received at our facility, we'll process them and notify you by email of their arrival.

Step 2 - Mount Being Made

As soon as the ashes are received at our facility, we'll process them and notify you by email of their arrival.

Step 3 - Glass Being Made

Whilst the mount is being made, we then organise the glass ashes to be produced. Typically it takes 1 - 2 weeks to complete your order from this notification.

Step 4 - Hallmarking

If your order contains any gold items, we send the finished mount for hallmarking at the Birmingham assay office. Typically it takes 3-5 days to complete your order from this notification.

Step 5 - Ready to Ship

When your order is ready to ship, we notify you with a tracking number for next day delivery.

Every Alba Rose pendant and necklace comes with a 17 - 20 inch adjustable chain, allowing you to select the perfect length for your comfort and style.

17" - Petite Fit

Best suited for younger wearers or those with petite neck sizes. This length sits just above the collarbone for a delicate, close fit.

18" - Standard Fit

Ideal for average neck sizes, this is the most popular length for pendants, resting neatly at or just below the collarbone.

20" - Longer Fit

Designed for a more relaxed style or for those with larger neck sizes, this length sits lower on the chest and frames open necklines beautifully.

We want every piece of Alba Rose Ashes jewellery to be cherished for a lifetime, which is why we offer a comprehensive 3 Year Warranty on all our items.

Our warranty covers:

Manufacturing faults in materials or craftsmanship
Stone setting security, ensuring your glass gemstone is held safely.

What’s not covered:

Normal wear and tear (such as scratches or tarnishing).
Plating and finish , including rhodium or gold plating starting to wear away.
Damage caused by accidents, improper handling, or contact with chemicals.
Repairs or alterations made by another jeweller.

If you ever experience an issue within 3 years of purchase, simply contact our team and we will repair, replace, or restore your jewellery free of charge under the terms of our warranty.

We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship and materials, giving you peace of mind that your jewellery is protected and made to last.

If your Alba Rose jewellery has some wear and tear, which is natural after years of wear, we offer a 10 day refurbishment service for just £59 per item to bring your jewellery back to its new condition.

Every Alba Rose order comes with free shipping, no matter the value of your purchase.

We understand how personal and meaningful each piece of ashes jewellery is. Because every item is custom made just for you, returns and refunds are limited — but we always want to help when something goes wrong.

When you can return an item?

We can accept a return only if:

The jewellery doesn't match what you ordered (for example, wrong design, engraving, or glass colour).
There's a manufacturing or quality fault.

Once we review your case, we'll arrange a repair, replacement, or return free of charge if it falls under our return policy.

Cancellations & refunds Because we personalise every piece using your entrusted ashes, we can only issue a full refund if:

You cancel before we begin work on your jewellery, or
We have not yet received your ashes.

Once production starts or your ashes arrive with us, we cannot offer a refund due to the nature of the product.

To ensure your Alba Rose ashes jewellery arrives in time for Christmas, please place your order before Sunday, 1st December 2025.

Our jewellery is individually handcrafted with great care, and each piece takes several weeks to complete.

Orders placed after 1st December will continue to be accepted, but delivery before Christmas cannot be guaranteed

These orders will be scheduled for completion and dispatch during the second week of January 2026.

If you have already placed your order, please ensure that your ashes kit reaches us no later than Saturday, 7th December 2025.

Any ashes received after this date will mean your order will be completed after Christmas, even if it was placed before the ordering deadline.

We kindly encourage all customers wishing to gift a piece of memorial jewellery this Christmas to place their order early.

Every Alba Rose creation is hand-crafted with love, care, and precision — a beautiful and lasting tribute, made to be treasured for years to come.

We know how special your new jewellery is to you, and that you'll want to wear and cherish it for years to come.

Like all jewellery, though, there are some important care tips to keep in mind to help protect it during everyday wear.

Household cleaning products contain harsh chemicals that can instantly damage your jewellery's finish. Rings are especially prone to bending and scratching.

Everyday products like shampoo and body wash can dull and damage the finish of your jewellery. Always take it off before washing.

Chlorinated and saltwater are both highly damaging to Rhodium plating and resin. Always take your jewellery off before entering the water.

Perfume, hair spray, lotions, and hand sanitiser contain chemicals that can harm your jewellery. Apply them before putting your piece on.

Striking hard surfaces can bend metal and dislodge crystals. Handle your jewellery with care to preserve its shape and setting.
